A Rune a day
I normally pick a Rune a day, either before I walk out the door or when I get home.
Today when I got home I pulled out Sowelu.
I used Ralph Blums book, I know everyone is not a fan of Ralph but I like him. So I’m using it..
He speaks of a self realisation and putting that into creativity.. whenever I see the word creative, I think Art.. I’ve been meaning to get back into painting as a way to relax and relieve my stressy life. I’ve just only today before I chose the Rune joined three Art groups online, post Impressionism of course .. so I’m on track .. I’m was worried about retreating and not being there for others by doing this, Sowelu councils that retreat is a retreat in strength and much needed to recharge centre and balance.
It is Love that Loves through us..
It’s a very spiritual Rune and I love it when I get it..
Anyone got anything else to add to Sowelu?

Re: A Rune a day
Hi, I was reading this thread and one thing that struck me was if your reading of a rune stood out for you in a certain way, that was the way you personally needed to read it that way, even if someone else felt something different. I have always felt information will be fed to the person asking for fed back in the way they best understand the question and/or answer, therefore if we read it differently maybe that was the way we needed to understand it but not you? You being a painter would naturally be drawn to creativity in the art line as that is where you feel comfortable and where your talent is as well. If you need to join groups to do this, so be it. You would never pull away from others because this path opened up for you. You have always been a person that needs to share, and to make sure everyone is OK. So you will find you will divide your time between friends and art and family. It honestly will give you a warm feeling of coming home, and I would love you to share your art from time to time. I know I have now gone off on a tangent - but love you anyway.

What a lovely post/answer, SuzieQ. and, I agree, though I am not very up on runes. I have some runes, however, I haven't really learned how to use them and haven't played with them in a long time now.
