Runes , runes and more runes
I Love my Runes, I have worked with runes ever since i can remember, well before Tarot,
I Love all types, I Love Medieval Runes for decorating with and have them tattooed on my arm, spelling out my children's names, Just in case forget who they are
I love Elder Futhark, Tree Ogham, etc
My favourite site for Runes is called Omnliglot.. http://omniglot.com/
I kept a Rune journal for over 7 years , worked with them daily, for my own personal journey, if i read with them, they are for a very specific reason and that is for self growth. Not sure why, it just the way i read them. if i really think about, i guess its because their council comes from nature, and Nature is my thing. There are people out there that know way more than i do about Runes, I guess like most of us, i only tend absorb what interests me and what resonates, I never intended to research and get to know everything, I learnt what i wanted to know, their history as most of you know is pretty sketchy.
Medieval runes for me I guess because i love that era in history , especially In Scotland, England and France, is the rune system i am drawn to the most. Historically Medieval Runes were mainly used for decoration, and not writing/communicating with like the Elder, Younger futharks, and tree oghams..
But over the years as they are similar to both elder and younger, they have been adapted for communicating, binding and energy of directed intent in their making, and of course divination. Elder Futhark is what i use for Divination for others, I Love them too, but not as much as the softer images of the medieval ones.
Who else here likes their Runes? what ones do you use?

Re: Runes , runes and more runes
I love Runes! I have a set of amethyst and a set of lapis lazuli Elder Futhark Runes. I also have a set of onyx witches runes. I am almost finished making my own set of Elder Futhark Runes out of fine silver.
Problem is, I'm hardly proficient in reading them I did take a short rune class once and I have read about the meanings, but I haven't actually studied them or read with them much.
