How do you tell time?
Just wondering if any of you have worked out a way to tell time with Tarot?
Do you use the numbers for months?
Astrological, or the houses?
I’ve never really been able to tell time with Tarot alone as I normally get visions of numbers or a picture of a season in my head..
But I asked a question about timing, and twice after two very good shuffles I got the 10 of cups.. would this mean 10, as in 10th month October... or because 10 of cups is Mars in Pisces, you would say March - April?
Times always confused me

I honestly don't know how to accurately tell time with tarot myself either, DB. Generally, if I need to have a time with a reading, I use a spread that has "time" in it. Other then that, there are times when I am able to just *know* when to expect something read in the cards.
This said, don't the suits actually correspond to a specific time in our calendars?
I just looked up the suit of cups and what month it portrays here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I would've thought spring--but it says this suit is for the summer months and obviously, the water element. I can see this now, and realize perhaps the wands suit is more of a spring time suit. In fact, my Robin Wood deck even has the wands suit with leaves starting out on them-to help portray the spring I believe.

Thanks Noodle, it is Spring here now, one week into it. the 1st December is the start of our summer.
Timing has always eluded me too especially when relying on Tarot alone.
I’ve always used the psychic side to tell time, sometimes spirit speaks...
But when reading for myself it gets a bit tricky, expectations get in the way

yes, exactly! Sometimes I just rely on my psychic side to tell me the 'when'--and even then, I'm sometimes wrong.
I forgot that your seasons are different from ours too. my duh moment. Well, that would mean your summer is coming soon---or soon enough.
